Re: Quick'n'dirty patch allowing to change the width of left panel

Now dynamically change the history panel as well.

Add to keybindings:

bind contacts hist_panel_move_up {
bind contacts hist_panel_move_dn }

Thanks to Alexander for getting this started.

here's the reoccurring segfault.

oh one more thing. I can't add new users for several of the protocols
anymore. Just tried adding a user for Yahoo.

I'm forced to add new users through bitlbee. That sortof puts a dent in
using centericq actually and is potentially a large grounds for claiming
it "impossible" :P

ignore

does ignore work for you guys? I always select ignore/remove from
contact list. Everytime I restart, the same idiots come back.

I have the same problem. Unwelcome users appears in my contact list in group
"Not in list" (or something else) if they sent auth request before spam
message.

    When it asks you to remove the guy from your contact list ... say
no. It's silly I know :).

wouldn't it make more sense to have an ignore list seperate from the
actual contact?

Segmentation fault when searching for jab users

The segmentation fault happens when I try to get the details of the user
I've searched for. I only use jabber so I can't try with any other
protocol. This problem is reproducible 100% of the time. I use Gentoo
64bit on AMD64.

Here's the gdb output:

Re: under dev?

I changed util.cpp in libmsn

    unsigned int decimalFromString(const std::string & s) throw
(std::logic_erro
r)
    {
        if (s.c_str() == NULL)
            return 0;
        errno = 0;
        unsigned int result = strtol(s.c_str(), NULL, 10);
        if (errno != 0)
            throw std::logic_error(strerror(errno));
        return result;
    }
}

to this. I've not had a crash since. This isn't the correct way to fix
this, but atleast I'm not getting a segfault.

The function is getting an invalid pointer to a string most likely from
some other function.
