Re: An old problem that I thought was fixed.

I had a similar problem with an AOL user. I had only received a couple
events from this person over the last 6 months or so and never seemed to
be able to reply (my replies seemed to get stuck as "unsent messages").

When it happened again the other day, I actually removed this person's
entry from my config and then re-added it. Now I see that he's online
almost all the time...

I'm sure it's probably something you've already tried, but it worked for
me.

An old problem that I thought was fixed.

I'm currently using 4.12.0, and I still have the same problem with friends
being on AIM and not being able to see them. Any way to fix this bug? I
know 100% certain that somebody is on right now (They're on naim) but
centericq does not show them. I'm using group mode 2.

No it's a local ext3 here.

That was exactly the case.

Re: An old problem that I thought was fixed.

I've removed this user six times today and I still don't see them.

I've removed them from the .centericq directory, I've removed them from
centericq through it's menus. Hell I've even recompiled the damn thing.

They keep sending me messages, I'd love to respond but it's just a no go.

Any other work arounds?

suggestion on away message

Hi

I want to make a suggestion for a new feature.
Before the code workers start to claim they are not working for me, I
should be thankful to be allowed using centericq, I should not demand
things from the code hackers.... You are right.
I am thankful and I am not demanding anything. Though I think it is
worth to share this Idea.
I think it would be useful to have two different away and NA messages.
One for the case centericq switches automatically to one of these modes
and the other for the case the user manually sets his status to away or
NA.
If on sets the message to something meaningful for the moment this is
not neccessarily meaningful the next time centericq switches to away
automatically.

kind regards
	Axel

Groups not sticking.

I'm on centericq 4.13.0, and I keep trying to move users to other
groups (Yahoo users mostly), and it never is preserved across a
restart.

Help?

Memory leak

Hi,

I use centericq-utf8 4.12.0-3 on a debian sarge kernel 2.6.9.
I use icq,jab,msn,aim,irc

Just after startup, the program uses up 256M of RAM

I realized this when accidentally running 2 copies and getting my system
swap like hell
