Re: CGI XSS vulnerability in cacti graph_view file

Cacti version: 0.8.7d

I am using 0.8.7d and Information security is saying that there is a CGI XSS vulnerqability in my graph_view
file. In what version this problem addressed? I tried 0.8.7g and the vulnerability is still there.

Thanks,

hasan

Problem with graph tree

I´m using version 0.8.7g and I´m having problem with graph tree.
It used to work perfectly two weeks ago until I added new hosts. Now i don´t
know what to do to view again my full graph tree.
In console tab I can see my whole graph tree. But it does not appear the
same in the "graphs" tab.
Does anyone know how to correct this error?

Re: Problem with graph tree

A known problem is, when a tree entry with some "strange" characters was added.

Re: Problem with graph tree

I´ve made a search on google and see that some people got this problem when
added weird character or space.
Looking on my cacti database i did not found characters like that.
Do you know what characters could cause this problem?

Re: number graphs on a device

I am running discovery plugin to scan some vlans to add linux and windows servers. I am seeing that some
servers are having some snmp problems, for example, number of graphs are a lot less than what it should be.

What I need to do is to get the number of servers that the graph count is >=3. On the device page, Graphs and Data
Sources does not let you sort it. Is number of graphs is stored anywhere so that I can run a sql to get this
info? Or how else can I do this?

Thanks,

hasan

Cacti templates for Brocade MLXe

Attached is an archive with Cacti templates for both CPU and memory on the
Brocade MLXe. It may work for the MLX and XMR -- I'm not sure. The CPU and
memory is per slot.

Let me know if you have suggestions for improvement or improve upon them
yourself.

Kind regards,

Frank

Graphing Brocade MLXe (and MLX and XMR?) IPv4 and IPv6 interface counters in Cacti

Attached are some templates I created and then exported from Cacti that draw
on Brocade's private MIB that expose the MLXe's IPv4 and IPv6 counters on a
per physical interface basis. This may be handy for those who want to
create a baseline of IPv6 traffic before World IPv6 Day, both in term of
absolute byte or packets, or in terms of percentage of traffic. (Not sure
if the OIDs are supported on the MLX or XMR platforms and what software
release it might need).

These are the graphs:
- IPv4 packets (in and out)
- IPv6 packets (in and out)
- IPv4 bytes (in and out)
- IPv6 bytes (in and out)
- percentage of bytes that are IPv6

They're 64-bit counters so it should work for higher-rate traffic.

I think I've included all the relevant pieces by exporting from the Cacti
GUI, but let me know if needed to include the brocade_mlxe_counters.xml file
in resource/snmp_queries/.

Kind regards,

Frank

Running two cacti on one webserver

About one month ago, the cacti server's hard drive at my office had fail. So I
have to create a new cacti. Since the hard drive cannot be accessed, I sent it
to the repair service. Now, it has been repaired, I want to restore the old
cacti, but without disturbing the the new one which has been run for one month.

My question is, can I make two cacti running together on same web server ? If
possible, what step I should taken to make sure both worked without interfering
each other ?
I use Mandriva Linux 2010.2, apache 2.2.15, php 5.3.6 and mysql 5.1.46.

Regards,
Duswanto

Here's a new archive that includes CPU and MEM, as well as the xml files for
