Jimmy Conners is the author of the PIA. He's member of The Cacti Group and has
already integrated PIA into current cacti/branches/main trunk at SVN. There will
be no seperate PIA, then.
Documentation is quite an issue. I've not found any time for it, yet.
Especially, PIA2.x added a new way to do things. Currently, you'll have to learn
by reading other plugins, especially THOLD.
With 088, we WILL have a documentation, hopefully a good one ...

Please be more verbose. Currently, it is already possible to use "external" rrd
files.
