Re: Adding Cacti hosts / graphs automatically

Hello

i submitted to the forums (forums.cacti.net) in the pas cacti_cmd_maker
which does exactly what you need
it works on cacti 0.8.6e+

it adds from the command line hosts + graphs and even refrence to rrd file
if needed. its perl script and its pretty easy to modify it to
your need

Re: No graph after 1 year

hello

this is definitely not for the fainted heart. rrdtool keeps database
for approximately 1 year i think around 720 lines of data. you need to
resize the database according to your needs. but beware although it
seems like simple task sometimes rrd files are corrupt and not usable
you need to backup your rrd files to do this

there are also 2 posts in the forum on how to do that
http://forums.cacti.net/viewtopic.php?t=11425
http://forums.cacti.net/about9627.html
please read carefully.

Possible denial service attack?

Dear All ,

I am asking for your help because I am having some problems
with my CACTIEZ server (CentOS 4.3)

I have installed it 2 months ago, and so far it was woking OK.

Some days ago I began to have problems because it suddenly backwards
the server time or it stand still.

The processing raise to a 100 % and it cuts the graphics.
To solve the problem I have to reboot the PC.

It doesnt respond (by comand line) to the command " shutdown -r now "
and it only turn off after a long time using the command poweroff.
The server is crashed down..

What can be wrong?

Has someone got the same problem?
Or could I be victim of some kind of attack because of some vulnerability of
my system??

Thanks in advance.
Best Regards.

Need help graphing just some data points

I have three data points (call them A, B, and C) of which I would like to
make a graph with two lines. The values are numerical, but I want to graph
percentages. The line graphs would be the following values:
1. A/(A+B+C)
2. B/(A+B+C)

The problem is that the first two values are so small they barely show up,
so I really don't want to graph the C percentage [C/(A+B+C)] so that the
remaining two values can scale properly, but it's my understanding that it
still needs to be part of the template. When I change the C variable to
Graph Item Type to Comment or GPRINT the graphs don't generate properly.
Any ideas how I can accomplish what I'm looking to do?

See http://www.mtcnet.net/~fbulk/graph.bmp and
http://www.mtcnet.net/~fbulk/graph_template.bmp to see the graph and
template settings.

Regards,

Frank

Error en Postfix

Hola Grupo

relay=local, delay=5, status=bounced (can't create user output file. Command
output: procmail: Error while writing to "/var/spool/mail/xxxxxx" )

Pido disculpas si este error ha salido previamente en esta lista pero lo que
he encontrado en Internet no ha sido suficiente. Me podria decir el
significado de este error?

Gracias por la atencion

With an effort I managed to restrain my incredulous laughter. Jordan looked at him alertly, cheerfully
