In which window? Windows BNR supports the scroll mouse in the server
list, group list, and in the article view. However, in typical delphi
fashion, the scroll mouse doesn't feel the same way, it moves the cursor
up and down (Which will scroll eventually), rather then scrolling.

I've very specifically NOT installed any Logitech or Microsoft specific
drivers, I'm using the built in Windows 2000 mouse drivers.

The nice thing about standards, there is enough for everyone to have their own.

I thought about that after I went back to the previous verion. I'm
thinking about waiting for the fix to come out first, but may try out
the suggestion if I get a chance to or if it will be awhile for the
fix to come out.

Would pay off if I read other posts than just looking at replies that
I posted. Then I would noticed a newer version is out. I will try
this out soon and let you know about the delete feature. That was
quick..

Regex problem on 'hide if matching a regular expression'

somehow the new version when i opened a newgroup would show me an empty
screen. i figured out that the regex filter was set incorrectly it was
filtering out the regex [.]sfv on subject and on author.

if i give the following regex pattern in the hide if matching a regular
expression

[.]sfv

and checking the filename column the result should be in filtering out all
the sfv files and showing the rest. the result is the opposite. it only
shows the sfv files which i'd like to exclude. i also tried the same regex
on the show only when matching the following pattern box the result is
exactly the same as in the box hide if matching a regular expression.

i am using the windows verwsion 0.8.1 build 385

Significant. With a couple of other things running,
I started out with system/gdi/user resources at 51/76/51.
Getting to the main screen in the old version drops those
to 35/66/35, while in the new it's 43/70/43. Numbers are
even better when I start with fewer things running, at 57/86/57.
Old drops me to 40/76/40, new only to 51/81/51. So we're
dropping 8-11 points less, a 50% improvement at least. WinME.

Delete Feature

Continued...

I tried ver 0.8.1 and I am sorry to report that the delete feature
still doesn't work. It locks up the computer which I have to do
a "end task" to get out. This only happens if the "send deleted
files to recycle bin" is checked (0n). If turned off, delete works
ok. Using Win98se...

Also while I'm here, I never mentioned this and this still occurs in
the this version. The window size "restore" and "maximize" freezes
up in mazimize mode, I can not get the window to restore to normal
size when I click on the restore icon...

That darn copy and paste function forgot to remove the not's from the
equation to test the hide regex on the filename and author fields.
I've uploaded a patched version of 0.8.1. While I was at it, I also
finished tying the Apply button to the remaining fields on the
Options Window (except for the Kill/Want filters, which are
immediate) so it would enable when those fields were changed.
