Nope - Doesn't work. Guess I'll have to contact Telecom to find out why not.

Just your phone number in the topmost box, and the Telecom a/c number in the
bottom-most. You need to put your area code minus the 0 into the phone
number box, no spaces or dashes though.

Can someone enlighten me as to what we're supposed to use as a login and
password for this page.

I've tried the following combinations:

<phone number>/<telecom account number>
<telecom account number>/<phone number>
<user> <at> <isp>/<isp password>

If it is supposed to use the phone number as the login, what format should
it be (ie including spaces, leading zeroses, dashes etc)

I haven't, but given the list-owner's attitude to abusive postings, I wonder
if something from that renowned curmudgeon Metcalfe would be acceptable.

Perhaps a URL?

Has the list seen this report? I think it is of interest, but wanted to
check before I posted it without asking.

Re: Zyxel Prestige 310

You don't. Just plug your hub into the M10. The M10 has the DHCP server
built in. I had 5 PCs running through an M10 just by plugging it into the
hub.

The extra equipment is required for putting multiple PCs onto a cable modem.
You could also get software to run on a PC to do this. I'm currently using
software under Windows 98 with a cable modem but I'll move to Linux when I
have the time.
