Janet and I are still in Arkansas for a couple more weeks.
Usually we only have open mics when we are gone but this
time I let Lee Brooks book some acts on some of our open
mic nights.  Hope you will enjoy the changes.  It has been the
coldest April on record in Arkansas.  It's that dam global
cooling.  We burned pictures of Michael Moore to stay warm.

Don't forget our 7th annual Benefit for the Galveston Island
Humane Society Sat. May 18th....Bring pet supplies every
time you come by, only if you can afford it of course........

AboutTownes Web Site

Questions for site owner and members. 

Has the Yahoo AboutTownes site been abandoned? Is there a better site where TVZ Fans can communicate and
share Townes Music? I have noticed the Yahoo site gets a lot of SPAM nowadays, glad I have a good SPAM TRASH basket.

I miss the old OKOM discussions. I just finished reading June's issue of Acoustic Guitar magazine,
actually re-read the TVZ article 2xs and will probably go back to research some areas I marked for further reading.

Big Shout Out for the Old Quarter and "Wrecks", hope all is fine there in Galveston.

Anyways Folks, just wondering where the AboutTownes people are now.

Documentary about Daniel 'donut' Antopolsky

Hi Everyone,

I am making a documentary about a man named Daniel 'donut' Antopolsky.
Daniel, as some of you may or may not know, was a close friend of Townes for the period of his life when he wrote
Pancho and Lefty.
I would love to chat with anyone who might have any information, photos, knowledge about their relationship.
Townes, was and always will be one of the great songwriters of the past century and i would love to discover
anything about his relationship with Daniel.
I am also happy to discuss my project about Daniel, should it be of any interest to any of you.
