I could be wrong, but I think the Tree DVDs are the Tree music with the artwork for each recording for a slide show

this was disappointing, as I'm very interested in listening to new music in that vein, but this is too much.

the first three samples are pergamon covers to me... track 'zimbaspitze' is more interesting in its
abstraction. then 'vorder grauspitz' is again too much like TD. 'Naafkopf' starts promising but soon
begins that familiar sequencer roll (I don't know the proper name to give this effect), not so interesting
anymore. and it keeps going on that way for the other tracks.

I think it's nice to pay homage and do a tribute here and there and I've done it before (like in my 'echoes of
berlin' track, featuring an echo of phaedra's finale near the end) but I'm not interested in listening to
this kind of music, all too similar all the time, like leftovers from TD's albums.

They do have the skills and the tools, they could try doing something more original with it.

It’s just a shame that that particular repository only has fairly mediocre bit-rate MP3s :(
Considering the amount of effort that was put in to remaster old tapes for the CD-R releases, it’s ironic
they now tend to get distributed in such lossy compressed format.

The material on that site seems to be compendiums of actual T.Dream video material (TV appearences etc), 
rather than the audio Tangerine Tree / Leaves releases collected on DVD with a slide show accompaniment.
