whats the fun in cover versions which try to be as close to the original as possible? I like re-interpretations, especially with other instruments. That can show, imho, the quality of a composition. I.e. the great version of Stratosfear on acoustic guitar which was on some youtube-like website (sorry, don't have the URL at hand at the moment). I or we (a band we used to have) never recorded any covers, except that, admitted, we once started a performance like 'Ricochet part I' and ended it like 'Invisible Limits'. Playing guitar, I did enjoy figuring bass sequences like on Rubycon with two-hand tapping techniques. a. --- In tadream <at> yahoogroups.com, "johnplaiduk" <johnplaiduk <at> ...> wrote: > > I'm asking about fans covering Tangerine Dream songs using their synth setups....? > There's loads of Jarre covers for example, but i've only found very very few TD > replicas/covers of their songs.
