Chris, the article has a 'complete' list of tour dates: 1968-1973

It's one hell of an article Andy, nice one mate! A book spanning TD's entire career, written in this detail,
would be amazing readinig for every TD fan. You've set the standard for Edgar's book to follow!

My short article: 'Berlin Nights: Tangerine Dream and the Imagination
  of Sound' is online now

As it stands the article is in a un-finished state (think of it as just
rough notes that need correcting...sadly time beat me and I just didn't
have the time to finish it this week), however I hope to add to it over
the next few weeks (including background information on the recording
of Zeit and Atem, as well as TD's move from OHR to Virgin Records in
1973. together with some more photos and perhaps vintage memorabilia).

In addition I've also included a list of all known tour dates ('68-
'73), including two newly discovered concerts

Thanks for your effort Chris, I'm not sure even the musicians you
help know how much time you expend on all of this. You're a top
geezer!

By golly, you are right. I should have totally forgotten about the
original just before seeing the director's cut (I have yet to see the
final cit), so I would not mix up all those elements...

In this respect, however, there is some discrepancy. Bryant claims
that the 4 year limit is a fail safe measure (which Deckard did not
know about until Bryant told him, but is clearly known by the
replicant themselves; although their knowledge thereof may be the
result of observations of their 'elder' dying with suspicious
regularity); while Tyrell told Roy that he made them as well as he
could back then. And then, Rachael is allowed to roam free to meet
Deckard (to try and convince him she is not a replicant), which would
be in violation of the law. If Tyrell allows such things to happen,
why can't he take liberties with the fail safe as well?

Andy,

You have to have the most sore back in the world! All these people offering
their congrats on what truly is a great homage with an in depth istory of
the band.

Besides another virtual slap on the back can I offer you a virtual creme
salve to take away the pain and redness :O)

Wish I could get my missus a bit more into TD (she likes the ambient
relaxation tracks that I find for her though!) - Markus

Re: The Losts Years: 1968-1973

:D :D :D cheers mate...hey I didn't start it for the praise mate
(just the money and the women :P....that's me dead when my girlfriend
reads this :D).

the idea (if you could even call it that) was... what the heck am I
going to do with all the press cuttings I've collected?...so let's
scan them (for me first...you didn't think I did it for you lot did
you?)...and then use them online and share it around a bit.
The 'Homaage' bit is basically me giving a bit back, after (mumble)
years of enjoying the band.

Try her with some Ulrich Schnauss mate!

     Okay, copied when?
The only things I can see that this film has going for
it are Vangelis, Sid Mead's set design, the lighting (but
then, it is film noir) Sean Young's hairdo, and Rutger
Hauer. Other than that, bleh.
I thought Minority Report and A Scanner Darkly
were both better films.
