Re: Radio Eins Elektrobeats

Yes, I remember seeing Olaf there. I even had some Ricochet Dream label CDs
of mine to hand to him for radio play, but he was quite elusive, just like
some other fans I was planning to meet ;-) But plans get slewed when they
hit reality!
Cheers,
Vic Rek
P.S. Edgar is a GREAT MAN IMO! (nuff said)

Re: Re: Why is NOBODY saying any of this? Blargh!!! ;)

I Spoke with Chris Hausl: He fully supports TD and hopes the tradition of
new ground-breaking EM continues.
Of course this is my interpretation - but I believe all band memebers love
being in Tangerine Dream. Vic

Gilmour

I had the LP, Cassette and CD and VHS of Legend and never saw David Gilmour
in the credits. What is the source of that info?

RE: The 1977 tour

I'm not familiar with the Detroit performance. Why do you refer to it as "famous"?

RE: The 1977 tour

Part of the Detroit show was immortalized on the vinyl bootleg 'Emerald
Beyond'. Edgar really went for it with his guitar antics and it's often
described as "Heavy Metal EM".

Re: CARDIFF FAN MEET 2007

Chris and All,

A great idea for the meet and wish we could have joined you, but sadly
this coincides with our hols.

Hope you all have a rave as Cardiff does buzz in the evenings - I can vouch
for that.

All the best

RE: MADCRAP'S FLINGING DOODIE

hey all
i am buying the dvd/cd even though i allready have a "free" copy of
it.
i was also checking to see if you all were still awake. this group
seems to fall asleep at times. maybe it's that dante stuff?

any way, i like everything they do but some stuff a hell of a lot more
then others. 1988-2004 the old stuff is just the cats ass.

i like seven letters but that's just funny shit right there. :)
great response, loved it thanks.

i think we can a agree to disagree, no?yes?huh?lol
no i'm not on crack.
ok so buy it listen to it and then talk about it cause that's what we
are going to do. and then we are communicating and i think that is all
edgar or any musician is trying to do.

peace keep it real homies.:)
i'm out

Thanks for letting us know. Mmmhhh..my best guess would be that it's a
live extract from 1973 (I havent' yet seen the French "Pop Deux"
documentary, in case this snippet is identical then it's February
1973). The clip is quite nice..."Rick Wakeman, the Richard Clayderman
of Progressive Rock?" :-)

RE: The 1977 tour

This show was during a time when alot of popular rock acts of the mid '70s
were performing at the Ford Aud. in Detroit. So TD played a progressive rock
show that night and lead me to believe it was to fit in with the scene of
the time. I don't know if famous would be the right term, but it has a good
ring to it.
