Prolly cos the protection is not compatible with Mac.
The Virgin copyprotection (like on the recent David
Sylvian reissues) doesn't work on Mac either.

I don't understand why the people who buy their music
have to be punished with these things (not to mention
all the stickers and moralising texts on the packaging).
