Re: John Cage prepared train book+cd+dvd

I went to the site and I'm a little confused. Are the CDs included as
part of the book? Also, are the CDs just recordings from the
happening/performance or is there commentary as well?

Hi John, the 3 audio cds and the video dvd are included with the book.
Honestly I don't know what the audio discs feature; my guess is the
music/sounds produced during the 1978 happening (one disc per
excursion). I feel instead that the dvd contains material shot in 1978
plus recent interviews with some of the guys involved in the
performance. Maybe we could find some commentary there.

The book features essays and recollections on the event both in italian
and english.

Hope this helps, bye

Re: Robert Rauschenberg passed away yesterday

Thanks Bill (and Ralph too).

Just Thursday night, over Indian food in a DC restaurant,
I was talking about him and this lawsuit concerning his Captiva
neighbor who went thru his (R.R.) garbage and began selling
his throwaways as Rauschenberg's art.

He died on Buddha's birthday.

All of my Buddhas are dying...

If you've never seen the LP that he's talking about,
I've reproduced it here:

Because it was BR and it was sure to be a limited pressing I got at least 3 copies of this.

Scores...

Hi, excuse my english.
I need a list of book (or links) talking about scores like Earle Brown, of course Cage, etc.
Experimental scores, contemporary scores (not "academic" scores).
Books with a lot of images.
Thanks to all.
