Tracy In Joplin, Mo.

Hey Everybody,
I just want to let you know that Tracy, a member of this group,
(orange-clouds <at> sbcglobal.net) lives in Joplin, Mo. where a devastating
tornado touched down yesterday evening. I remembered that she lived
there so I emailed her this morning to see if she is okay and she
wrote back saying that they were homeless. Perhaps you already know
this but I thought I should send this just in case.

David,
Thanks for the update. I definitely remember Tracy. Is there a
way we can help?

Wow, what spirit you have, Tracy! The goddess is clearly with you through all
the upheaval. Please do let us know if there's anything we can do...

Love,
Stevik

I have it. It survived. Just got it out yesterday. Can't find dragon dreams
cd. Have the case wet but its signed so it came with me.

I guess I'll just have to let all the posters and my pencil drawing of jane
go. I can't find the wall where the jane "shrine" was. Sad.

I just keep thinking of stuff and going.... aw man?

Love you all. I'm ok. Its all gonna be ok. Well shoot. It already is. Remember
when jane let all her stuff go? I was forced. Well ok

Love to all. Really. Big love. Tracy.

Re: Tracy In Joplin, Mo.

Oh Dear Tracy!

Yesterday I saw the news... a wasteland where Joplin homes used to
be. The ripped off trunks of trees were more visible than the
foundations of the houses.

I grew up in Missouri.. but left before we experienced anything like
that. Then some years ago my place in Florida was hit by a
hurricane... so the street was just rubble. But it was a crew cut,
not a head shave, and the houses were mostly intact. The uprooted
trees and brush protected the houses-- as long as some pine whopper
didn't come down through your roof. This was all a piece of cake
compared to what your facing. I wouldn't know how to carry on after
such devastation.

Your shrine to Jane is dispersed into the elements... into the orange clouds...

HUGS!!

In today's NY Times you can see aerial before and after shots of Joplin.

Re: Tracy In Joplin, Mo.

I honestly don't see how Tracy survived that. Amazing. I think anyone
who survived it who was directly hit should be hired by the government
as a tornado-survival consultant (where to go in your house etc.) if
this trend of killer tornados continues in our weather patterns.
