and then....

i went to the MySpace journal, and found Finn waiting for me there, and
heard "You Can't Judge A Book By Its Cover", easily the best new jane
song i've heard in years (i haven't been going to concerts lately).

i need to go to bed - i don't know where this will all lead......

Hey, do you feel our pain
And walk in our shoes?
Have you ever felt starved
Or is your belly always full?

How many people die
And hurt in your name?
Hey, does that make you proud
Or does it bring you shame?

And if our fates have all been wrapped around your finger
And if you wrote the script then why the troublemakers?

Another Classic Jane Concert to share (1984-08-11 Hamilton)

Hi Jane Fans:

I've just uploaded a new torrent from another of my master cassette
recordings of classic Jane concerts. This one is from the "Festival
of Friends" event:

1984-08-11 Gage Park, Hamilton, ON, Canada

You'll find the torrent at:

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=95792

The details of the recording are:

Jane Siberry - 1984-08-11 Gage Park, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
(Festival of Friends) (from master cassette)

Source: Cassette Master> Pioneer CT-W404R cassette player> iMac G5>
CD Spin Doctor 3.0.2t> xAct 1.5 (for flac conversion/ sector boundary
check/ md5 checksums & fingerprint)

Recorded using SONY WA-55 stereo cassette-corder and 2 SONY ECM-16T
clip-on mics.

I arrived a bit late and missed the first half of the first song. As
Jane's show was part of the "Festival of Friends" concerts, she could
only give a 30 minute set, although she went overtime by popular
demand, as you'll hear.

Total Recording Time - 32:07

Re: Another Classic Jane Concert to share (1984-08-11 Hamilton)

By request, for those unable to join DIME, I've just posted the Aug
5, 1984 Hamilton Jane show at The Trader's Den tracker:

http://thetradersden.org/forums/showthread.php?t=21585

as well as the Aug 11, 1984 Festival of Friends Hamilton set:

http://thetradersden.org/forums/showthread.php?t=21588

I've still got more Jane shows I taped I'm planning on sharing, so be
patient and I'll get them digitized and torrented asap.

Enjoy,

Chris
