Re: boys names

Wasn't there some crazy notoriously self-destructive rocker called G.G.
Allin? Died of an overdose, of course. Not sure of the name, but it was
something like that. By the time Gavin has grown up, he'll be a dim mem,
I'm sure.

cartographic Jane dream:

First Jane Dream last week:

Setting is a pleasant low-key interior getogether. A dozen people or so.
I'm showing Jane a photograph in a magazine of a cartographic construction,
which begins with a bookcase, wherein the shelves are slightly skewed to be
isomorphic with a particular urban grid, and further smaller groupings of
wooden slats are then built into the case, as well as added on, to form a
simplified representation of a city map. Of Albany, as I can recognize.

Perhaps I'm thinking that she might be intrigued by cartographic art
because of the cover to "No Borders Here"? In any event, Jane displays
appropriate (polite?) interest.

In the course of our interaction I address her as "Ms Siberry" (to avoid
the precipitous intimacy of calling her "Jane"), and she informs me that,
in truth, her name is "Roberts."

Next time you meet her in the dreamtime, be sure to confirm that name.
