Re: NY protests are LIVE on C-SPAN today - all day!

Leno had a great bit with their GWB look alike last night. One remark made
was "I ran into Michael Moore today", Leno remarked "Oh, so you finally met
the man", W "No, I ran into him, with the bus".

a JS sighting

YO!

Whore, my boyfriend, works at Kabuki Springs and Spa in Japantown, SF, CA.
Today, he booked an appt for a session with a therapist for none other than
Jane Siberry. Of course, he called me right away with the news. Her massage
therapist is also a fan and recognized her visually and came to George
after the session to confirm the name. Kabuki is quite a wonderful
experience (if you are ever in SF, go!) and I hope this helped her relax
and center herself, so she can finish that freggin album! I'm waiting.

Ta-ta,
Troy

Been by it a million times but never went. Now, I'll have to go to pick
up some Jane-cooties!

Shushan

Hi Ya All,

While getting bored here I thought "Why not tell you folks about what
happened....".

Two weeks ago I went to the musicstore I frequently enter to return a
10.000 Maniacs dvd which wasn't compatible with my dvdplayer. F*** f***
f***!. No problem, the clerk said, you can choose something else. So I
went over to the 'new cd's' section, I saw it, I grabbed it, I returned
to to counter. Speehless. I handed over 'Shushan The Palace'. I was
terribly excited.

After listening for it for two weeks now, I don't know what to think of
it. But I found one hell of beautiful song on it. 'Jesus Christ The
Apple Tree' is, to me, worth the cost of the album alone.

Heck, I know what I think of it, "Damn, this is beautiful music!"

I'm looking forward to listening to this album more (again) as the winter
draws nearer.

I'm more in the "mixed feelings but some great songs" camp. I like the
Apple Tree song, too! Oh, and old favorites like In the Bleak Midwinter
and Lo, How a Rose E'er Blooming...

Still like "Child" better. I bet the show *was* great.

It took a little while... to grow on me, but I love it and haven't yet tired
of it. 'Jesus Christ The Apple Tree' is my favourite too. :-)

Enjoy!
