bandcamp, premiere release

http://slessene.bandcamp.com/

I have just put up my first release on Bandcamp. It is a two–track EP,
the first being an ambient piece and the second being an
electro–hip–hop piece.

Even if you don't buy it ($1.50, cheap!), at least please listen to it
and let me know what you think.

Thanks for yr time,

Sleßene.

Wild Kingdom Ambient Journey (well, sort of...)

This week's WK set was triggered by an inspiration I had waking up
(waking up and going to sleep seem to be good times for inspiration). In
short, things will start out on an ambient tip (Richard Burmer/Steve
Reich), and work their way through various flavors (Neotropic, Aztec
Mystic, Sterac/Jerome, Plaid, Manuel Gottsching, Duet, etc) before
touching down again in a cloud of ambience. You can see last week's set
list at http://www.kfjc.org/music/playlist.php?i=37515 .
I'm preparing for a day-long special feature called "Day of the Dead"
featuring music from folks who passed untimely. I have plenty of
material from rock, blues, and jazz, but the techno/electronic entries
are still a bit sparse Email me if you have suggestions. No big sense
of urgency, as the special won't be happening until the end of May.

Limited time archives for all shows on KFJC (including this one) are
available at http://www.kfjc.org/broadcast_archives/ . These are
"rolling archives", available for two weeks after any given show. My
shows are listed under "Goodwrench". Send comments and suggestions to
info <at> kfjc.org .

"The Wild Kingdom" airs on KFJC-FM 89.7, Saturday night/Sunday Morning,
12A-3A (8A-10A GMT). Potential listeners outside the San Francisco Bay
area can find a webcast at http://www.kfjc.org/netcast/index.php .
Present and past Wild Kingdom playlists are also archived at kfjc.org.
You can also check out archived playlists from my first KFJC show "Just
Desserts" that was on Fridays 10P-2A from 1992 through 1999. Archived
playlists exist for that show starting from Fall 1995 to New Year's Eve
1999/2000, so you can see what what I'm up to these days is pretty much
consistent with what I was up to all along.

If you do tune in (especially via the web), please take a little time to

Re: idm Digest 5 Mar 2011 17:48:37 -0000 Issue 3721

Hello,

I am new to this list.

Recently I set up a new web site where you can upload / download music for your
music project.

http://www.audio-sounds.com/buy-beats/

You may upload your music if you want to increase the chance to get your
songs licensed.

http://www.audio-sounds.com/submit-music/

And I run a music blog:

http://www.audio-sounds.com/music-blog/

Thank you.

Best,

Thomas

My radio show from Sat night

A little different from my usual thing, playing 3 tracks each of the new
RadioHead, 3 tracks from Anika, and two from Darkstar, 2 from Instra:Mental
+ DBridge. Plus Omar S remixing Dirtbombs, Urban Tribe, a bunch of those UK
Bass the brits are so keen on, When Saints Go Machines and a self-indulgent
4 of my own tracks.
