two 12 hour marathon djsets from dj u-teq

was sent this:

"I need your help to spread my 24 hour marathon (well, actually 2 x 12 hours
tho) mix.

Its basically me mixing classic electro(nika) for 2 x 12 hours. The project
was funded by the city council and i had websites projected and all
albumcovers shown during the whole process at Landmark (which was the site
for a couple of Ekko festivals).

Heres the links to the blogposts where you can find the downloads and
tracklists:

http://blogs.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=blog.view&friendId=126504139&blogId=475838460

There should also be a button at the bottom for translation the initial text
to english or any other language.

As I am quite pleased with how this project turned out, I would really
appreciate your help in spreading this to your friends, musical colleagues,
on forums, to labels etc.... And please feel free to give me tips/links to
good international forums for this kind of music.

Hope you like it!

Best wishes,
U-TeQ"

ryonkt - small conversations

The new release on Experimedia by Ryonkt is now available. This will
be our last cd release of the year. Later this month we will release
a new free release by Pangea. Our next CD release in early 2010 will
be by Aaron Martin and titled 'Worried About The Fire'. This will be
a deluxe release, pressed cd, mastered by Taylor Deupree, in a deluxe
version of our current packaging. More info forthcoming. 2010 is
Experimedia's 10 year anniversary. To celebrate there will be some
special releases and events.

ryonkt - small conversations (cd)
Ryonkt's Small Conversations is a modern classical ambient masterpiece
in four lengthy movements. Soft spoken and gentle 'Small
Conversations' embodies all that ambient music is meant to be through
perfectly crafted music of delicate beauty. Ryo Nakata's work picks up
and elaborates where Eno's left. 'Small Conversations' will fit
perfectly in one's collection next to albums by Celer and Phill
Niblock. More info, samples, links, and desktop wallpapers available
at the release page.

Hi! I'm very used to being ignored, after all these years of writing marginal
electronic music, thanks. My email was an attempt to rectify that situation
very slightly, not a complaint about our shared situation. :)

Re: undated tape - side a

you werent "completely" ignored by me in fact, I did check the first track ,
just like I did with the others, but I personally didn't find the sound too
catchy to me (amidst the environement that I was in?) I remember thinking it
was too clean and calculated or semething. klx I only gave it a second
listen coz I remembered the first minute I heard it there was a little move
in sound there that had jumped a reaction in my mind that I liked, and then
peops keept talkin about it, so I did again... I've been ignored too to that
matter I wrote inspired words and no one seemed to like them, I got used to
it too :) I'm sure we both still love it though, the question is, is it
Active Ignoration, or Passive!? hehehe which is better anyway..

ummmm what about mantrakid!!! I still remember him, I hope he's not off the
list!!! I still wanna go back and check some of his music, just coz I still
wanna hear that track again, the one that was passed on from different
artists, I think his story was real and strengthening. anyway, this topic is
waay too long!!!!

ok, I really hope one day I put my acts together and make y'all hear
something that I did!!!

laptop wanted

hi all,

i've had the same computer for a decade. and it's a desktop, an hp 2001
pavillion that's noticeably on its way out.

i'm not in the most plentiful financial state at the moment, and if i could
somehow maintain my workflow and easily over 15000 audio files alone, it
would be a godsend.

so if anyone has a spare laptop they dont use because its slightly slow or
something trivial, i'll give it a home. i'll fix it and i'll pay shipping +
$50 so i dont completely shuck it off whoever.

i'm sorry this is more a classifieds post than a discussion thread, but PM
me if you got one.
