Re: SBC+ /24-pin to 13pin conversion device

Looks neat. Someone emailed me a little over a year ago when I was fooling
around with
with conversion stuff and told me about that project (or a similar one). I
figured that
with all the new technology that it wasn't worth the investment to get into
the project.

What is he asking? and is there a link to ebay? I will search ebay to see if
I can find it.

Re: SBC+ /24-pin to 13pin conversion device

Apparently, this is a guy who works with 24-pin systems and 13 pin
systems, and did a deluxe re-designed BC-13 type device with many
more options.
Marketing this device appears somewhat limited so far, but there is
an e-mail link, perhaps he can offer more info on availability,
prices, etc....
E-mail him if interested.

Software Synths

Hello All

Every now and then I post a message to see if anyone is using a
software synth live as part of their midi guitar rig. Anyone out
there trying this?

Seems the lack of midi mono and good pitch bend control in this type
of device is the limitiation. At least it used to be. If anyone knows
different, let me know - thanks

Wow!
Is he selling those?
Had it been commercially available a couple of years ago, I would not have
sold my GR300/G303 set-up and bought a Godin.

Re: SBC+ /24-pin to 13pin conversion device

If you look closely...they are for sale...limited
production...$1600...I have a 24 pin system left
handed hamer...It's a great guitar, but 1600 almost
puts you in a new Godin system even left handed...and
you aren't dealing with 24 pin cords that are 20 years
old and virtually impossible to find...

I think it's a no brainer if you're right handed and
have access to so many nice midi guitars....unless you
have tons of cash and have to have every synth toy...

Re: SBC+ /24-pin to 13pin conversion device

Clearly, this guy likes the old controllers, and wants to use them
to acess the new technologies, and price is not a problem.

Here is what's really important to this list:

all of his info on the old 24-pin systems, hex fuzz, the old Roland
and Ibanez gear, cables, etc., etc., etc.
I believe there are many old system users still on this list.
I sold my old stuff last year...

Re: Software Synths

I use softsynths with my Axon in the studio but not live.
No problems with pitch bend here.

Re: Re: SBC+ /24-pin to 13pin conversion device

I have a Roland G505 and a Gm70 converter and also a Mks 50 or 20, cant
remember wich is the piano module or synth (i have both). I also have the
Gk1 Driver seperatly to fit to any guitar, if someone would give me a fair
offer i would consider selling this.
