I've made quite a few recent synths gag from this. I use an Emu UltraProteus and an Emu Proteus 2000. Both work flawlessly. > Nord Lead. others?? > My BIG question is can you still SPLIT STRINGS and FRETS when > connected to an external? And will the HOLD PEDAL function just the > same? These are the things that require the fast response to the program changes, yes they all work just fine with external stuff.

hi All, I have Axon AX100SB and Roland XV3080 which do not communicate correctly. I have Godin LGXT guitar and what i'd like to be able to do is trigger sounds stored in my favorites in the Roland synth. i can go to the general midi category and will trigger those sounds but does not cover even very small amount of total sounds available. Will not be using guitar or Axon to change sounds in the Roland but will actually change them on the XV3080 itself, so just need one patch on AX100 that will work. Had messed with it quite some time ago but with no luck gave up, but now i'm back to try once again. Any ideas at all. Am totally blind which makes a little more difficult, and though have musician friends, none are midi knollegable so makes it hard. if nothing else may take out ad in local musician ragg for someone who may be familiar and offer to pay them to come over for hour or so and help set up. Am in orlando, Fl area so offer is open if any suggestions. Seem to remember trying to switch midi channels on Axon with no luck in getting desired results. Feel free to write offlist if you like. Quitting the band thing and mainly playing around the house and using 4 track now so don't need anything fancy but sure be great to get this thing running. Thanks for any ideas, Dave

Godin ACS balance questions -- problem solved

Just keeping my promise here. For those who read my original post, I was having a problem with large volume differences between various strings on the used Godin ACS I had just bought. RMC was recommended by a fellow lister, so I contacted them and ended up buying a new set of piezo transducers. Installation of the new transducers eliminated the balance problem I was having before. At last I am free to enjoy a =very= nice guitar. Best, Michael McBroom
