Agreed, it can not hurt, but will not help, as the effects processor is post the A & B. jacks. I use the direct A & B outputs, bypassing the noisy Digitek circuit in the K2000 and go directly to the mixer were I then added effects via an external Lexicon. The audio is switched mechanically by these jacks. Corrosion at those switch points can interfere with the audio. While I concur with "Roger J" 's assessment, it costs next to nothing to first spray a little D-Oxit into the jacks and insert a phone plug a few times into each insert jack.
