Greetings, Kurzweilers.
I have been searching for something I thought was fairly simple and
basic, but have had absolutely no luck. What I want is a fairly
simple software sequencer that will interface with my K2k. I can do
my recording or editing through Cool Edit, and prefer it honestly, I
just want an easy to use sequencer that will do step recording and
all that, and that I can access the K - program banks from, so I
don't have to use the onboard sequencer. The onboard is fine for
what it is, but I'd like an easier method for entry, as well as
something I can do on a laptop while sitting on my couch (and if
you've ever tried to hold a Kurz on your lap, you know that the
computer is a more physically friendly option.
In looking through the various software solutions I can't find
anything that doesn't include a whole bunch of goo I don't want (like
recording features, super advanced editing, blah blah puke. Even the

The only thing I've found so far that's close is MOTU's Freestyle (I
think that's the name). It seems a little more simple than I want,
but like it would work pretty good. And in looking into it and
Performer I can't help but start to think that Mac is really the way
to go. Being a former Amiga nerd, and recovering Linux user, Mac has
