Re: Use My Mouth

I trust the moderator has remove this person and has placed, new users to moderate and checks out the first
post to ensure a real interest in the group before allowing such post to occur?
Email me off list if you want step by step on how to do this. If I see a few more like this I will un-sub... this
type of activity makes a group un-usable for information.

keyboardist audition in rock band from atlanta, ga

Hi all. I just joined this list to put word out...

my band needs a good keyboardist, and I hope someone reading this
post will respond for themselves or someone else. Anyway, we do
covers and originals and have gigs booked and are basically doing it
to make money. We are working on becoming an "A" Circuit show band,
and release a few cds along the way. I'm sure you know the drill.
Anyway, you can find out more about us at my personal website:
www.davidleewilliams.com
and the band:
www.lostdogsband.com

Our keyboardist recently got an offer from a national touring act he
couldn't turn down, so we're looking to fill the gap. If you, or
someone you know may be interested, please go to one of the websites
above and/or call me(LEAVE MESSAGE) at 770.319.8064. It is a voice
mail number and noone will ever answer(except the machine), so you
MUST leave name and number for a return call.

You must be sober and professional, age 25-40 preferred, able to
travel, dedicated and disciplined. The FUN part is when the music all
comes together and the crowd is loving it. We put on an energetic
show, so you must be in decent shape physically.

That ought to do it. Thanks for your time.

Re: Potential Karma buyer queries

Hi...I am new to this group but I Love the Karma.

You get what you pay for. I too like the Triton and the up market
models are great especially the new Extreme. However, for the price
( I paid $1100 for mine) it is hard to beat. The keys are a little
clacky but....they are light to the touch and a whole octave spread
is easy to do even for those with smalller hands.
I like the ability to twiddle knobs to achieve changes in the sounds
rather than buttons to alter parameters.
I played a whole bunch of keyboards before parting with my money. It
finally came down to the Motif6 or the Karma. The head-to-head
between them occurred in a Music store that had both...Karma won on
fun factor alone. I was having fun creating from the get go.
Personnally I find the Triton keyboard weighting a little heavy, but
if I was looking to buy right now then I would buy the Triton
Extreme....what's not to like about it?? But, for the price the
Karma is great. The learning curve is steep and like unravelling the
DNA of music! But I enjoy my Karma every day. I have just loaded the
MW program so now have even more to learn.
So, to summarize, if you only need 61 keys and budgets are a
concern....buy a Karma.....otherwise buy an Extreme.

I hope that helps
