upcoming gigs

Hi folks,

I hope everyone is recovering from spring break! I just spent a week in
Colorado not skiing on the melty, muddy slopes. That's okay, I'm not much of
a skier these days, and it was beautiful enough to do other fun things like
hiking and hot springing. The kids go back to school tomorrow, I'm trying to
catch up on email, and I'm excited for a couple of upcoming gigs that I want
to tell you about.

This Thursday, April 12 I'll be making my debut with The Treading Lemmings.
Years ago I played with guitarist Andy Stainer and singer Chris Quinn in a
band called Wax Poetic. That band eventually morphed into Arc of Ones, with
which we released an album in 1989. Fast forward these many years to find
myself joining up with my old friends again in the Lemmings. This band has a
great mix of original music (think XTC meets The Smiths), with very catchy
tunes and excellent vocals. We'll be playing a short 30 minute set to break
the ice this Thursday at 9pm.

We are one of two bands featured this Thursday at RAW D.C. Tickets are $10 in
advance and $15 at the door. Doors open at 8 PM. Cafe Asia is located at
1720 I Street, NW in Washington, D.C.

Then on Friday, April 20, the Cravin' Dogs will be back at the Strathmore
Mansion in Rockthesda, MD for two sets of old and new favorites. Always a fun
time at the Mansion (where incidentally, Jane and I got married almost 20
years ago). The show starts at 8pm and tickets can be had at strathmore.org.
