U-Liners <at> IOTA this Thursday

Hi there!  I hope everyone is having a great summer!  I for one am  
not yet ready for it to end. :)

Just a reminder that I'll be playing with Joe Uehlein and the U- 
liners at the IOTA Club this Thursday, August 10, for the second  
annual Jerry Garcia Tribute.  We played the show last year at IOTA on  
the 10th anniversary of Jerry's death and it was a great sell-out crowd.

This year, the U-liners will start with an acoustic set, and then I  
will be joining them on stage with my Cravin' Dogs colleague John  
Penovich on guitar for a rocking electric set.

The whole shebang gets started at 9pm and runs until about midnight.   
I suggest you come early and eat at the fine cafe beforehand.

Neil Young Tribute

Hi everyone!  I hope you've had a great summer and aren't quite ready  
to get into the swing of another school year yet. :)  Come on out for  
another great summer musical extravaganza at Strathmore tomorrow night.

I'm going to be playing two songs with the Cravin' Dogs at the Neil  
Young tribute.  I know what songs we're playing but not when. :)  But  
there are something like 60 great DC musicians playing various Neil  
songs and it promises to be an excellent evening of music.  Best of  
all, it's free! :)

Neil Tribute

Quick update: The show's start time has been pushed up to 6pm sharp.   
This is because Strathmore requires the show to end at 9:30 and we  
don't want to cut any songs.

Our songs are slated for early in the set, so I'm guessing we'll  
probably play just after 6pm.  If you get there late (or blink) we'll  
be done! ;)
