NON-4AD: Concert Announcement

Hi everyone,

This not directly 4AD related, but I know that many 4AD listies are into
modern composers and that sort of thing (like Arvo Part and Henryk Gorecki),
so I wanted to let people in the greater Boston/New England area know about
a choral performance happening March 9 featuring 20th century composers.

The program is ambitious and quite diverse. If you're into modern
composition, this would be a great event for you. I'm on the board of this
group, so I can attest to their professional sound and talent.

(By the way, Musica Sacra is NOT a religious chorus. Although the theme of
this performance is liturgical in nature, it is not a religious service.
This is more a secular appreciation of music inspired by Christian texts.)

Request

I thought it may be interesting to see what reactions 4ad-l group 
members would have to my work and web site (though the site 
design will be changing soon). It's not a 4AD related site just 
over the years 4AD have had a pretty strong influence on my 
work.

Have a look in you're interested and drop me an email, all 
comments welcome, good or bad (no pain, no gain as they say).

While I'm here, does anyone know if Vaughan Oliver has a 
personal web site? (or a studio one).

i have been trying via searcher(s) and got million links
but nothing approved to be official web-site... similar
as with Peter Saville ( is there any . . . )
also link for Timothy O' Donnel is not working is he still
got his won web-site...

btw, i visited DasDesigner web-site ( what is compilation
42 ?) and it's very nice. What did you do for ABBA ??
i liked them when i was little kid ( and Lush when they was a
bit older !! )

btw, once there was a talk about some german designer,also
inspired by V23, i missed a link..help, anyone !!

Jo, some links from 4AD web-site doesn' t work..
search few time with Google search, same time always..there is no
sign for official web-site , just numerous links . .

last i know about Tim is that Orphee compilation for Projekt..

it will be nice to see his works in complete . .

maybe some on list will know link...

A compilation of local bands a while back, mostly friends, not 
available now.

T-shirts (in the 80's). Mobile, the studio I was with at the time, 
only did official  music industry T-shirts. Never liked Abba myself 
though.

I am of German ancestry, hence 'dasdesigner' - but I doubt very 
much that you mean me! :-)
