Manage outbound queue

Hello,

I've a fresh install using install.sh script found in this list. Anyway, my problem is that I cannot manage outbound queue from baruwa.

I'm able to see the inbound queue in the full message list tab, but if a mail is stuck in outbound queue (due to relay server is down), I'm not able to see it in the Status --> Mail queues tab nor in other tabs.

My config is the default config provided by install.sh

should I do any extra config to manage outbound queue?

Thanks & Regards.

Manel

Problem with baruwa 2.0.1 clamav-daemon web config

Hi,

After I selected clamav-daemon in the web interface, my AV scanning stopped working, exactly as detailed in the thread here

I've made the changes (added {} and added new section in SweepViruses.pm) and now I don't get errors and the logs show it is scanning, but don't detect any viruses as tested with EICAR.

Is this working for anyone? Any suggestions?

Cheers,
Mark

Problem releasing blocked emails via web

Hi,

We use baruwa as anti-spam.

I have little knowledge about this, linux included, so I’ll ask some patiente.

Whenever an email or an attachment is blocked the user receives an email with a notepad attached where indicates what was blocked and why and gives a message id to release the email.

When I search for some messages id in the baruwa frontend, via website it indicates that can’t find the message:

If I go to linux server (CentOS) there is the id and I can see the attachment.

Can I release those emails from the server? If it’s possible, how can I do this?

Thanks.

Best regards,

have you meet such problems when using baruwa 2.01 and how do you resolve it?

1. after configuring LDAP auth , LDAP auth seems not work
2. local mail such as crond mail to local accout always stay in the Out
queue
3. update-queue-stats job runs at baruwa which configured at
/etc/cron.d/baruwa can not update the mail queue status ,but
update-queue-stats runas at root,it works fine ,i do not known whether there
was some issues with permission settings.
4. bruwa admin can not delete mail in the queue , it disappear in the webui
,but after update-queue stats ,the mail which i delete in baruwa web ui
returns.

Exim-mailq

Hi,

I`ve used Jeremy`s installer script on CentOS 6.4 and everything went fine
so far setting up Baruwa.
My problem now is, that all emails are stuck when it comes to "queued for
message checks". None of the emails are forwarded to the recipients and
being kept in the mailq all time... any ideas?

thanks in advance!

Example AD Auth Search Filter

Hi All,

Baruwa 2.0.1 --

I'm trying to test auth against an AD server (samba4). Email Recipient checking seems to be working fine using (mail=%u <at> %d) for the Email Search Filter, however the same doesn't work for Auth Search Filter. I want users to be able to log in to baruwa with their email address and password.

I've also tried (mail=%n) and (userPrincipalName=%n) but neither seem to work. Can someone please advise of a working Auth Search filter with AD?

Thanks,
Mark
