[sylpheed:31391] more troubles sending files

Well I appreciate everyone´s patience with me. My problem has worsened
and now I cannot send any files. But I can from older versions of
sylpheed. So I guess I will have to regress unless anyone has any other
ideas?

Gettext seems to support plurals by ngettext(id1,id2,n) function. But
the implementation may become a bit complicated in this case.

[sylpheed:31393] [Libsylph] How to create files in RC dir tree, if not exists...

Hi all, i'm going on with my EFL email client, that uses libsylph as
email/accounts/prefs backend.
I'm making my app independent from previous sylpheed installation, but
i've a problem: i don't understand what is the right function sequence
to call, in order to create non-existant files (for dir tree i'm ok).
There's a builtin feature in libsylph, or i've to write it?

Thanks
Massimiliano

[sylpheed:31394] Sylpheed establish new connection for every mail

Hi,

Since I'm only online with a dial-up modem, mostly I'm writing emails
offline to send them when I'm online to safe online time and money.
But there something I don't like very much:
Sylpheed is establishing for every a mail a new connection, which
costs a lot of time by sending a big number of mails.
Do I have any chance to tell sylpheed, to use only one SMTP session
for every server?

But that's a limitation of the SMTP protocol IIRC, not Sylpheed's fault.

It's Sylpheed's fault. the SMTP protocol allows mails to be sent
batched:

I think, you need to say a explizit Quit to the server, after he was
accepting your message. I don't know, if there is any restiction in
number of mails, but I don't think so.

Actually I am glad this has been brought up. I am also a dial up user
and confess it would be a nice option to be able to send en masse.

The most simple way is:

if (!is_file_exist(path))
	create_a_file(path);

If you want strict exclusive file creation, you must write it by
yourself.
