with this rule in sylpheed do you download post from server and then delete it or do you delete it from server?

you are right, i first tested sylpheed to see if it could run
in the sparc and only after that i installed aspell
now with aspell installed, the ./configure works fine

as linux sparc isnt in the sylpheed home page and as i was unable
to compile it on that system, i assumed that sylpheed (normal and
the claws) couldnt run on that CPU.
so i thought that this was a sylpheed problem, not a claws one...
i never thought that was because the (missing) aspell and/or a
	extra configure flag

anyway, thanks again for sylpheed, now i would be really happy if
the cache would be platform independent so i could share the
mail tree via nfs in all my computers
(i know alfons is taking care of this)

Current Sylpheed (main) (0.8.3cvs9) exactly works like this.

I think this bug has been fixed.

Sounds like you have Sylpheed configured to check mail on startup and are
having difficulty with (or have a lot of mail on) one or more of your
accounts. Check for this in your ~/.sylpheed/sylpheedrc file:

check_on_startup=1

If found, change it to 0 and then try starting Sylpheed again. This
setting should probably have a _large_ warning on it until Sylpheed
becomes multi-threaded.

No, I download everything and spam is just moved to spam
folder. I don't know if it is possible to avoid downloading
of certain messages in Sylpheed.

Now in claws (cvs) if you want to reply to an ML you
must explicitly use 'Reply to List', previously we
didn't have to worry about that and simply clicking
'Reply' did the right thing. The problem is that users
will now have to break a habit and adjust to this new
way.

best regards

Paul

In main, 'Reply' button invokes 'Reply to list' by default now.

So you have reply, reply to sender, reply to group, and reply to list
now?
