help with error

Hi,

I installed the latest compatibility, I'm running squirrelmail 1.4.13 under Ubuntu. I installed the serverside filter plugin and when I try to access Mail Filters this is the error I see:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function sqgetGlobalVar() in /usr/share/squirrelmail/plugins/compatibility/includes/1.5.2/global.php on line 942

I'm not sure why it's referring to 1.5.2 since I'm not running 1.5

Thanks for your help
Ricardo

Notice there is a file called README and another called INSTALL. These

serversidefilters

Hi,

I'm trying to build the filtercmd utility for serversidefilters, and it's complaining about certain fields not present in the config file. I'm using ldap config, and I get these errors:

filtercmd.c:811: error: mdldapconfig has no member named database
filtercmd.c:811: error: mdldapconfig has no member named dbtable
filtercmd.c:825: error: mdldaprec has no member named homedir
The sample config file doesn't have these entries in it. Anyone have samples for these entries?

Thanks
Ricardo

"Archive Mail" plugin (possible adoption)

hello.

while browsing the plugin page i stumbled over this here:

http://www.squirrelmail.org/plugin_view.php?id=121

if nobody has taken this on already and if the plugin is not
made obsolete by any other plugin i would in fact be interested in
adopting this package. as a minimum for now i would be happy to
keep an eye on security bugs but probably go through the TODO list in
the README file in the future. im also happy to join a team if others
are interested, too.

I think you are going to be the only one for now. ;-)

We'd be very happy to have you take it on.

I'd actually suggest taking a look at the SquirrelMail plugin
development guidelines (which are still not entirely up to date - ask
if you have additional questions, and take a look at any recently
released plugins for good examples of the form that we'd like to see
plugins take) and see what updates the plugin needs, as it's been a
while since it was last released. It also probably needs changes to
be compatible with SM 1.5.2+.

When you are ready with a new release, we'll make the official cut
over to you as the maintainer.

Welcome!

  - Paul

Looks like the plugin has its own hook calls. It would need to be
updated to pass arguments to hooks like the 1.5.2 core does. Take a
look at a hook call in each and you can probably discern the needed
changes.

All Plugin Authors - Please Read

Hello,

All plugin authors should be aware that they will no longer be able
to log into our plugin release system. There was a security breach
with that system, and as a result of addressing that problem, all
account passwords have been reset. We will gladly work with you to
still allow plugin releases - just email me offlist and we'll get you
squared away. I apologize for the inconvenience. Please see the
announcement on top of our home page for more information.

Thanks,

   Paul
