In that string translation, try encoding the single quote (') or
escape it with a backslash.

I did that with \\' and it's working, it remains just a little problem, the é is not interpreted as é...

Password in calendar_sql_backend

Hello all,

I got the calendar_sql_backend installed and working but when I try to add
a password to the line

$cal_dsn = 'mysql://user:mypassword <at> localhost/squirrelmail_calendar';

I cannot get it to work. I've tried to add passwords to the "user" using
different encryptions but the only thing I can get to work is to use

$cal_dsn = 'mysql://user: <at> localhost/squirrelmail_calendar';

and no password for user -> user.

What am I missing?

Thanks,

Ken

Re: Problem in G/PGP Encryption

Hi,
I think problem it's that $restoremessages it's no longer used on 1.4.13 and
global $compose_messages; global $session; are empty
so when you try to get attachments it finds nothing and retunr an error.

I'll do more debug if it can help :)

bye

The password is always unencrypted in this location. If you are
referring to how you encrypt it when adding in MySQL, just use the
standard MySQL syntax for adding/updating passwords, nothing
different.

This is a MySQL question, not a SquirrelMail one. You need to watch
your MySQL log when the login attempt occurs and see what the error
is. Make sure the user/pwd also has permission to log into the
database on the designated host (localhost) in your example.

Re: Password in calendar_sql_backend

Figured out the problem.
I'm using phpMyAdmin to work with the data bases, nice tool. Anyway after
I put in the password and Flush the user table the changes did not take
effect. It was not until I re-booted the machine that the password
changes took place.

No doubt I must not know exactly what I'm doing, but I did get it to work.

Thanks for the help,

Ken

Hello,

We are using mysql ver 5 here. We found that we had to change the database
file a little to create the database in version 5 of mysql. Here are the
changes that we put into a file called "DATABASE_squirrelmail_calendar".

Thanks,

You might want to use a better subject next time.

If you are suggesting some changes, you should send a unified diff of
those changes. Type "man diff" if you've never used diff before.

You mustn't use "é" in your translation. Use "é" instead. I fixed
your translation and committed it to the repository. Please verify that
the version at
<http://l10n-stats.squirrelmail.org/files/HEAD/locales/locale/fr_FR/LC_MESSAGES/quicksave.po.gz>
works as intended. Thank you for your contribution.

Sincerely,
Fredrik
