SM on FreeBSD

Hi,

I'm running SM 1.2.11 on FreeBSD. The language selection in SM seems not
to work, as SM always uses English. Any useful hints for me??

which language is not working? German should work on FreeBSD 4.7. Only
some letters does not look right.

what php version you are using? standard package or build from ports? do
you have gettext support enabled?

imap folder encoding

Hi all squirrelmail users, 

I`m relatively satisfied user of squirrelmail. But last time I try to solve 
problem with imap folders encoding. 
Does anybody know how to create - in my case Czech folder - to be visible in 
some other e-mail clients like KMail or Outlook Express. The problem is that 
folder crated in squirrelmail with czech encoding is not readable in KMail or 
Outlook Express - there are some unreadable chars and other way round folder 
created in KMail or Outlook Express is unreadable in Squirrel. 

I`m using versions 1.4.0 and older 1.2.11 .

german translation for recent CVS checkout

Hi!

Since Juergen Edner <juergen.edner <at> epost.de> has little time, I
updated the German translations a little. According to the German
Rechtsschreibung, we had to replace several "ss" with "ß" (&szlig;)
and I also fixed some obvious errors ("Dunkles Geld" (dark money)
instead of "dunkles Gelb" (dark yellow)).

file name changes in attachments

If I use language Estonian in Squirrelmail and someone sends me an email 
with attachment named abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz, then, if I try to 
save it to my disk, the file name changes to 
abcdefghijklmnopqrs______z.

The problem occurs with _all_ browsers on windows and on linux.

If I use English in squirrelmail, there's no such problem. I use Redhat 
7.3, glibc-2.2.5-42, squirrelmail-1.4.0-1.7.x, php-4.1.2-7.3.6, apache-1.3.27-2

Yes, by all means please do.  Just grab the po/avelsieve.po file from
the 0.9.2 distribution and translate away.

There's 159 strings (some of them a bit long, but most of them short).
