If the U.S. actually went full fuel economy (like they did years back with the first gas crisis), the oil companies would cry about not making any profit, then cut back production till the price came up enough to recoup the insane profit they lost. Only thing high gas prices do is hurt small business and low wage earners. I'd hate to be working a minimum wage job knowing half of what I earned was simply paying to get to and from work. Then again in retrospect the firt time I bought gas for a scooter it was only 40 cents/gallon or there about.(Continue reading)

She get's mean/snippy at times, but there a very good reason. On top of all
the pain, is the worry about what is next, and when she settles down, she
says pretty much what you just did.
I honestly can say that I could not handle all she has gone thru over the
past 9 years.
