Razor + SA Errors

Hello,

I recently upgraded to Razor 2.74 on my mail server. Since then, I have
noticed an error in my Sendmail/SA logs.

Has anyone else encountered that? And ideas on the fix?

Thanks,
John

RE: Razor + SA Errors

Thanks for reporting this; two debugging statements were accidentally
included in 2.74. They'll be removed in the next release (due shortly).

Are you using amavisd-new by any chance? If you are, then make sure
you set $sa_local_tests_only = 0; in amavisd.conf. If not, then I'm
not sure.

Remember that from the shell prompt, you are probably running
'spamassassin -D --lint' as root. Root may not be the user you are using
to run spamassassin normally. You need to check the user_prefs for
*that* user and make sure razor is not disabled. For accurate
debugging, try switching to *that* user when running 'spamassassin -D --lint'.

Not related, but, you should not use spamassassin 2.63, at least use
2.64. There are known vulnerabilities with 2.63.

I did think of something else. Maybe razor has been set up for root,
but not the user that actually runs razor when processing mail. Either
switch to that user, then run 'razor-admin -create' and
'razor-admin -register', or copy root's .razor directory to their home

Problem reaching shock.cloudmark.com

Hello,

since two weeks my RAZOR isn't working anymore. Port 2703 in my firewall
is open. razor-admin -discover leads to "Bootstrap discovery failed.
Giving up.
Also I can't reach shock.cloudmark.com on port 2703. I upgraded to
razor-agents 2.75 with the same result. I tried spamassassin -D --lint.
running as user amavis. $sa_local_tests_only = 0 in amavisd.conf and I
didn't change the user_prefs.
Any idea waht the problem is?

Thanks,

Markus
