When you do not find in google? The solution is the list of software, or not ???? go fish !! The solution is the list of software, or not ???? http://www.google.com.my/search?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=popa3d+openldap&bt nG=Search&meta= (That is googling for popa3d and openldap) The first 10 items answer your question fully. Less, even. You better test my patience when running into real trouble instead of exhausting it preliminarily. To me the case is closed, Uwe
To look in google I also know. you it read links? Already I looked in these links and I did not find the solution. Well, it leaves thus. If somebody to know a solution, orders a direct email for me (luis@...), therefore I will not be more in this list. It is supported via PAM. There're PAM modules which authenticate via LDAP. Alternatively, if you want to use LDAP _and_ virtual domains, there's an unofficial patch which is trivial to find with Google (it's one of the first 10 hits when you search for "popa3d openldap"). I do not find its quality adequate for inclusion in popa3d's contrib directory, though. But I strongly recommend against using an LDAP server directly from a POP3 server. This will most definitely make the resulting setup less reliable and, with existing LDAP-related software, also less secure. Most likely, you do not have a good enough reason to do things in this way. Please re-consider. -- -- Alexander Peslyak <solar@...>(Continue reading)
Great !! It was this that I needed. And in case that I use slackware (does not have PAM default), I can work with only NSS module? Marcone, Please either re-subscribe the list or consider this discussion ended. I've approved your posting this one time, but don't expect me to do that in the future and to forward you any responses that might appear on the list. I won't do that.
