What can we do so that when one logs out, it logs out.  Normally it stays logged in.

if your host uses server authentication (a login dialog box pops up
instead of the neomail html login form), then you have to exit the
browser to completely log out. this is how my host does it and for me
there really is no away around this. you could install your own copy of
neomail but you need admin access to install, something that i can't get
with my particular host.

I need a SIGN UP Page!

Hi!  I have a website and I want to be able to have a sign-up for email

addresses on my site.  Is there a sign-up form for NEOMAIL that users

can use to sign up for an account?  I know how to add the accounts with

my control panel for my web site, but I want the user to be able to sign

 up.  Thanks!

problems setting up groups in addresses

Are there any way to setup groups in my e-mail address book?
Is my problem (I can not set up groups , only individual email addresses) due to a wrong initial setup?

Hello (Newbie here)

I am so sorry to bother eveyone, but i am a complete newbie to neomail. i was hoping to unzip all the files and transfer it in to my cgi-bin on the server that a friend of mine has. But unfortunatley it's not as easy as what i thought it was.

I am fairly i.t. literate, but not when it comes to the web, lol.

Does anybody have an idiots guide, as the install guide just ain't simple enough for me :o)

My friends server is a dedicated server, and has access to everything. It's just i promised him a webmail service and I like the look of neomail and looks about right for what he needs it for. I am pretty sure it is a linux server. i can get more info if required.

I would appreciate any help possible.

Once again sorry for bothering you.

Thanks

Permission/owner of logfile changed!

Hello to all listmembers;

I'm running Neomail on a SuSE 7.3 Pro system.

I just noticed something funny. The logfile changed permission owner.
It's normally set to root.root 660, this works very good and I
experienced no probs what so ever.

Now I suddenly got an error saying that neomail.log couldn't be open,
so I checked, the permission to read/write had been altered and the
ownership were now set at root.neomail. I suspect my cron.daily has
tampered with it, but I can't seem to find anything.

Anyone experienced something like this ??

Yours truly

/Mikkel

I appologize!

I was a bit quick there :o( I found the error, I have put an entry in
/etc/logfiles which changed it when cron was called. Now I feel like
an idiot.

Again I appologize.

Yours truly
