Installing Neomail

I'm currently trying with Centos 5 and am able to get to the login screen, but can't login. 

With defaul permissions, the apache error says it can't access the script. So I give neomail.pl 4755 permissions to set suid bit and then apache log error changes to Disable set-id in kernel, fix kernel or use c wrapper. 

C wrapper doesn't work and I can't seem to fix the kernel. Lookin' for help! Thanks!

Can't locate neomail.conf in <at> INC on Linux REHL4_x86

I am sure my question has been discussed in this mailing list
but spending 2 hours I still can't find answer, now I'm addressing it to list.

After installing neomail on my server Linux REHL4_x86 I get "Can't locate neomail.conf in <at> INC"
this error.
/var/neomail/neomail.conf in readable by neomail user.
perl installeD: perl-5.8.5-12
suidperl installd: perl-suidperl-5.8.5-12.1
webserver apache

Could you please tell me what's the problem?

Include orig headers in Forwarded messaged

Is there a way to include the original “To:, From:, Subject” when forwarding a message.  Placing it right below “----- Forwarded Message Follows -----“ would be ideal.

 

I am most interested in getting the original “From” address in the forward.

Fedora Core 4 and 5 still breaks Neomail?

Hello,

I fresh installed server with the newest version of Fedora 5 and Neomail 1.29. 
Then occur problems... I can't login to Neomail. In Apache error_log are: 
"Can't access() script referer http://mydomain/cgi-bin/neomail.pl". All 
permissions are OK, more: this same lake in my old version Neomail 1.25. Maybe 
it's unsolved problem like have Chris with Fedora Core 3 posted on list 
2005-02-21? I've googled and noticed thats not only my problem, but solution 
not found.

Please help me back Neomail working on new Fedora.

System: Fedora Core 5
SuidPerl: 5.8.8-4 from RPM

Question about an email

I was hoping to maintain an email as new, so that the subject line stayed 
bold. I was testing whether or not i could accomplish this by sending the 
email from the inbox to the inbox, and now the email is completely gone, i 
cannot find it in any of the folders. Anyone have any ideas??

Exporting E-mails

I've changed my DNS server and unfortunately I lost all mails which were saved on my computer but they are still there in NeoMail; please kindly help me to export these messages from NeoMail.

using 'tab' to navigate within COMPOSE MESSAGE


Recently I have noticed that as I TAB through the "COMPOSE MESSAGE"
form, the cursor follows a strange path.  I don't remember it going like
it does now in the past, but I could also just be crazy. I'd like to
adjust this, and I know my way around html and did install neomail on my
server, however I do not know the inner workings of neomail
specifically.  I did install a couple 'mods' that were listed off the
main neomail site, but it was a LONG time ago.  I remember installing
the fixed width display and possibly one other.

Right now, if I click my cursor in the white box to the right of the To:
field and hit tab tab tab etc...  The order is as follows below:

I'm using Windows 2000 and XP with Firefox browser, however IE seems to
work the same.  Neomail is installed on a Gentoo LINUX server with the
following versions:

Neomail: 1.27
perl:    v5.8.7 built for i686-linux
apache:  Apache/1.3.34 (Unix)  (Gentoo)

CC:
Message Body
BCC:
Send Button
Reply-To:
Cancel Button
Close window button (up folder button under the CO in COMPOSE)
