aliases command: ~ doesn't expand

Hi,

I'm trying to use the new aliases command in my config file. Only thing
is that ~/.aliases doesn't expand to /home/leon/.aliases.
logfile ~/.msmtp.log does get expanded.

The error:
reading recipients from the command line
msmtp: ~/.aliases: No such file or directory

Regards,
Leon

Thanks for reporting this problem. It is now fixed in the git
repository:

http://msmtp.git.sourceforge.net/git/gitweb.cgi?p=msmtp/msmtp;a=commitdiff;h=7a9763eeb0728d2f95dda888179d8725fc50fff7

Rewrite From in header

Hi,

I'd love msmtp to be used to send mails from my system. In particular,
Anacron writes the header of the mail as:
From: Anacron <root>

The envelope is well rewritten, but not the header. Can msmtp do that?

Thanks in advance,
-Eduardo

No; one of the principles of msmtp is to never touch the mail content.
But you could use a small wrapper around msmtp that uses e.g. formail
(from the procmail package) to rewrite your headers.

Unfortunate. It would be really nice to add msmtp/version to the
User-Agent header.
