Problems with autoconf with CVS version

Hi!

I want to try the gnome keyring support, so i am trying to compile
msmtp from CVS.

I haven't managed to do so. Any hints?

$ autoconf --version | head -n 1
autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.61

$ autoconf
configure.ac:31: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE
      If this token and others are legitimate, please use m4_pattern_allow.
      See the Autoconf documentation.
configure.ac:32: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_CONFIG_HEADER
configure.ac:47: error: possibly undefined macro: AM_GNU_GETTEXT
configure.ac:61: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_DEFINE
configure.ac:102: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_LIB_HAVE_LINKFLAGS
configure.ac:107: error: possibly undefined macro: AC_MSG_WARN

$ ./configure
checking build system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking host system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
checking target system type... i686-pc-linux-gnu
./configure: line 1843: AM_INIT_AUTOMAKE: command not found
./configure: line 1844: syntax error near unexpected token `config.h'
./configure: line 1844: `AM_CONFIG_HEADER(config.h)'

Thanks a lot for such great software!!

If you have automake and autoconf installed, then the following command
should build a proper configure script and install any missing autotools
prerequisites:

$ autoreconf -i

After that, you should be able to run ./configure; make; make install as
usual.

Post describing how to set passwords in gnome keyring for use with msmtp

Hi there!

I have written a small post describing how to compile msmtp with gnome
keyring support, and, more importantly, how to save the password in the
gnome keyring in order to use it with msmtp.

I have also written a small script to save the password in the gnome
keyring, extract it, etc.

Hope it's useful to somebody.

Thanks for msmtp!!!
