pgp (err, mime) question

Folks-

Not sure if this is an mh-e, mailcrypt or nmh question. So, if it's
off-topic I appologize.

I am looking for an easy way to verify gpg signed messages that come
in MIME format. The mailcrypt junk works fine for the "old style"
signatuers, but not the ones that come in the MIME
"application/pgp-signature" form. I'd even take a simple shell
script that would do the verification. At least I could just write
a little bit of lisp so I could easily run it from mh-e.

Has anyone solved this problem?

Thanks,
allman

Mark,

That's on my list of things to figure out, but I won't have any time
for it in the near future. My guess is that the actual solution will
be in the mailcrypt arena, so I'd contact the mailcrypt maintainers
first. On the other hand, the mh-e code will eventually be MIME aware,
so mh-e may well have to take the application/pgp-signature body part
and present it to mailcrypt, so a solution may have to occur in mh-e
  as well.

I would appreciate it if you could forward any information you find to
  mh-e-devel <at> lists.sourceforge.net.
