MH-E bug party this holiday season?

What better way to celebrate this holiday season than an mh-e bug party!

Anyone interested in co-ordinating a day (or more) this holiday season to squash some bugs together?  If so, which ones might work for you.

We could also use a Google+ hangout to do it live (what's more fun than watching a bunch of geeks type on their keyboards?).

Bill, Satyaki and I are all on Google+, join and connect to us if you are interested.  There is also the #mh-e group on freenode.

Thanks

Jeff

Most weekend days are still open for me (evenings are mostly out).

Or a partial day the 17th or 18th.

I'm not a good person for bug-squashing, but I'd love to have an excuse
to spend a day working on packaging 8.3 for XEmacs.

The 27th, 28th, or 30th would work best for me; I might be able to do a
partial day the 23rd, 26th, or 29th.

I'd prefer IRC, but I suppose I could join Google+ if that's where
everyone else wants to hang out.

Thanks for suggesting this.

Hey, that would be great!

Re: PS Re: MH-E bug party this holiday season?

Turns out that mid-week during the Christmas week would also work for
me. I'm in a use-or-lose situation with my vacation.

Anyone else want to spend a day on MH-E?

Hi Jeff, we're getting close. Please pick a day or two! I ended up
taking off the week between Christmas and New Years so I'm available
mid-week like Mike as well.

Sure we can't entice one or two others? :-)

The 27th would be a good day for me.

My homework is going to be figuring enough about bzr to checkout and install the latest tree...

Thanks

Re: PS Re: MH-E bug party this holiday season?

Great! The 27th it is. I have a 6 pm (PST) dinner date so let's get
started early. Jeff, you'll get a head start on us.

Since Emacs has not yet been released, I'll work on creating a branch of
MH-E that we can work on this weekend.

I'll also become familiar with our room on Google+; if you're
interesting in joining, I'd suggest doing so in advance to maximize our
time on Tuesday.

Has anyone participated in one of these? Any suggestions for making it
an effective day? What approaches should we take? Should we scratch our
own personal itches individually? Should we discuss and lick in a pair
programming sense larger problems that affect others? A little of both?

Maybe one approach is to review the issues this weekend and bump the
priority of those each of us would like to address.
