MH-E development and Bazaar user request

Hey folks,

I'm happy and stimulated to see the recent postings to the list.

Now that things are settling down around in my personal life (although
things are still hopping at work [1]), I'm hoping to make some time to
throw out more regular MH-E releases in the near future.

Maybe some of the MH-E developers might find some time to implement some
of the patches/bugs/feature requests too. I'm also hoping to recruit new
developers to bring in some fresh blood into the project.

One thing standing in my way of creating *any* releases is converting
MH-E from CVS to Bazaar. Some of you may know that the Emacs repository
switched from CVS to Bazaar some time ago. In particular, the top-level
MH-E Makefile needs to be modified to check out emacs using bzr instead
of CVS. If any of you have bzr experience, can you please suggest good
alternatives to the emacs and emacs-devel targets in the top-level MH-E
Makefile? Note that the emacs target is meant for users, so it isn't
necessary to check out an entire repository. Think small and fast
checkout.

Thanks for your help!

Also, as we discussed last May (gasp!), I'll be switching the
SourceForge repository from CVS to Bazaar as well.

Initial Comment:
Currently, in folder view, all unread messages are shown in bold. This cannot be customized. It would be
useful to be able to alter this so unread messages can stand out more clearly, particularly in threaded
mode when new messages do not necessarily appear at the end of the buffer.
