Hi Dan. I'm curious about what brought on this change.

p.s. Has Stallman relented on the multi-file check-ins, or are folks
mostly ignoring this particular request?

All the similar flags from emacs tree have been removed. The advantage
is that (featurep 'xemacs) is optimized away at byte compile time, so
besides a bit better code, no warnings about using XEmacs only functions
on the XEmacs branch of an if would be issued...

Excellent. Thanks for the explanation.

Sorry about that, although an exception can probably be made when I'm

Summary: Use dired to include multiple files

Initial Comment:
In order to easily include many files at once, it is desirable to to
use dired to select files.

Reiner Steib suggests that this can be accomplished using
`gnus-dired.el', or at least with a slightly adjusted variant thereof.
See (info "(gnus)Other modes").

This feature was requested by Pete Phillips and Christophe Garion
provided his implementation.
