Beta wiki offering

SourceForge is offering a beta wiki program. I've signed up and turned
it on. Please go to http://mh-e.wiki.sourceforge.net/ and check it out.
Rather than post, "I have an idea", just add a page for it and link to
it from the home page for now. It looks like there is a discussion forum
per page, so discussion can happen right there on the page.

I have a few ideas, but I'll hold back for a while and see what you
folks do with a blank page ;-).

If you run into problems or have any feedback, please share it with us
at mh-e-users <at> lists.sourceforge.net; I'll summarize on the wiki beta
mailing list if the issue hasn't already been raised. The mailing list
is sitedocs-wikibeta <at> lists.sourceforge.net, by the way.

encryption bug/

I tried to send an encrypted message to myself for testing and found out that

(1) an alias with a "," after it is called "malformed" and it stops.
I use the "," to give me confirmation of the alias in the msg area.

(2) even with the "," removed, the encryption algorithm or rather the MH-E code
for readying the draft for encryption can't find the key because the
key is not in the name of the alias, but rather in the expanded real
    e-mail destination address.

Otherwise using my true e-mail address, all ran well....

Q1. Should the "," on the "To" line be automatically erased if
next character typed after it is <0x20?

Q2. Can the real value for the alias be retrieved and handled over to gpg/pgp
in order to retrieve the public key for encryption?

Regards,
  Darel Henman

tm and MH-E 8

(Still working on getting MH-E 8.0.3 into XEmacs...)

MH-E 8.0.3 breaks the XEmacs version of tm. I haven't looked to see if
it's major or just requires tweaking the autoloads. But my
understanding is that MH-E now gets all its MIME support from gnus, so
from MH-E's perspective, tm could just go away.

Is that correct, or am I missing something?

I probably wouldn't advocate actually removing tm from the XEmacs
packages (it has support for other mail readers besides MH-E), but I'd
like to know how much room I have to maneuver in.

thanks,
mike
