This feature will be implemented.

I'm now tackling to IMAP stuff and many problems are solved. The next
is a new mark architecture.

This makes sense. But hard to implement.

File completion is dynamically done by scanning a directory. However,
folder completion is statically done with a prepared list of full-path
folders.

I don't understand this well. Would you please send me an example?

I think Mew makes use of a file name if included.

[mew-int 01486] Mew 4.0.54

Hello all,

I have migrated from POP to IMAP and have lived for several days.
Many bugs appeared and I have fixed most of them. Some IMAP features
are still missing, though, I think Mew 4.0.54 is much more stable and
flexible than before in the IMAP point of view.

If you are using Mew 4.0.53 or earlier, you need to run two scripts
under the "alpha" directory. Concrete explanations are found in
the scripts and 00changes.

	ftp://ftp.mew.org/pub/Mew/alpha/mew-4.0.54.tar.gz

Enjoy!

I just sent you two (slightly different) examples. Since there is no
"Cover", the first part (a text attachment) is displayed inline.
Press "y" then "n" on that part (i.e., on the "mail line"); no
filename is suggested (while the MIME header says otherwise).

Cheers,
ChriS

I think this problem has been solved.

[mew-int 01489] Mew 3.3 release candidate 4

Hello guys,

Since we found a security bug of SSL in Mew 3.3rc3, we need to
release one more release candidate:

	ftp://ftp.mew.org/pub/Mew/beta/mew-3.3rc4.tar.gz

Also, scanning Summary mode of the version is faster than rc3.

[mew-int 01490] refiling question

quick question:

how do i get mew to auto-refile emails marked w/ X-Spam-Flag: YES
into my +spam folder?

while tweaking my spam filter i have had it setup so that
the messages are marked to get refiled, but i have to
actually hit "x" to get them to be refiled. i would now like
the messages to automatically be refiled (not just marked)
so that they never show up in my inbox.

thanks

henri

How about this?

(setq mew-refile-guess-alist

It's document says as follows:

*This variable controls actions when retrieving messages.
Currently this works only when 'i' with POP or 'mewl/incm'.
You can put any marks, typically 'o' and 'D' according to message
headers.

This value must be a list of entries. An entry is a list whose first
element is a field defined in 'mew-scan-fields'.

If the second element is a list, the first element of the list must be
a mark (e.g. ?D) or a string which is a comma separated folders (e.g
"+foo,+bar" for ?o). Other elements of the list are regular
expressions to be matched to the value of the field.

With the following configuration, Mew marks messages whose Subject:
matches "adult" or "money" with 'D'. And Mew marks messages whose
Subject is "daily log" with 'o' to be refiled "+log". Also Mew
marks messages whose Content-Type: contains "gb2312" with 'D'.

(setq mew-inbox-action-alist
      '(("Subject:"
	 (?D "adult" "money")
