I just ran into this odd bug (?) again, and I do not recall any previous analysis of it. Cheers, Alan Isaac ------ Forwarded message ------ From: Alan G Isaac <aisaac <at> american.edu> Date: Wed, 20 Jul 2005 14:26:04 -0400 Subject: oddity in SMTP dialogue To: Mahogany-users <mahogany-users <at> lists.sourceforge.net> I temporarily changed my SMTP password to be my userid. (Why is irrelevant.) So I go to Edit/Preferences/Network and enter an SMTP server password. It seems that this is not accepted (and without warning) if it is the same as the SMTP server user ID. That is, if I close the dialogue with the "OK" button, and then reopen it, I find the value was not stored. -------- End of message ------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using Tomcat but need to do more? Get stuff done quickly with pre-integrated technology to make your job easier
Download IBM WebSphere Application Server v.1.0.1 based on Apache Geronimo
AGI> I've done fairly extensive reporting on it, so I do not know what next
AGI> to do. Let me know if there is something.
As usual, we're going to try again with the latest build. I'll announce it
here shortly.
Thanks,
