The pithy ruminations from Mark Mabry on
<Re: quoteOmit resource help? > were:
=> You are one the right track, but you need to use *uquoteOmit to modify the
=> *quoteOmit resource. The next paragraph in the help doc says:
=> You can add to the resources in *quoteAdd with resources named
=> *uquoteAdd and *lquoteAdd, and remove resources from *quoteAdd with
=> resources named *u-quoteAdd and *l-quoteAdd. There are similar
=> resources for tuning *quoteOmit.
=> The way I think of it is that *quoteOmit is read-only (or, better yet, private
=> in C++ lingo), and *uquoteOmit and *u-quoteOmit can modify *quoteOmit.
That clears things up somewhat (along with your discovery of the documentation
bug in the resource naming). However, it still doesn't appear to do what I

Right now, I've got:
*uquoteOmit: application/* audio/* image/* text/rtf text/sgml text/xml video/*
*u-quoteOmit: application/* audio/* image/* text/rtf text/sgml text/xml video/*
in my ~/.exmh/exmh-defaults file. I've restarted exmh. When I reply to a
message with an attachment of type "application/msword", I get the attachment
quoted in the text of my reply.
The exmh log shows:
