Re: 5.4c1 & Mac Clients? (CalDAV/CardDAV/etc.)

iCal works fine, but CardDAV seems to not work at all for me. I can
login, it all looks fine but in iCal I am not seeing my Contacts and
then if I add someone.. it does not turn up on the server.

Removing client address headers

We've had some problems with destination servers rejecting email because the client IP had a poor
reputation in Barracuda's Reputation service. The email was perfectly legitimate, and it just so
happened that the user was unfortunate enough to have been allocated a dynamic IP from his ISP which
presumably had been previously allocated to a compromised PC.

The reason for the rejection was that the Received header had the client's IP in it and this was what the
rejecting server picked up on.

Is there any way of making CGP not add that address into the Received header? I suspect that doing this might
violate some email RFC or other.

WebAdmin -> Settings -> Mail -> SMTP -> Sending -> Processing -> Hide
'Received' fields

Adding to the other reply - contact the people with the rejecting system and advise them that "Deep Header
Inspection" should be turned off on their Barracuda appliance. Yes, it's their network, their rules - but
they *will* be rejecting legitimate mail by using that option.

mailbox access denied

I made a rule to store some e-mail in a separate mailbox.

It is a server-wide rule, but I always get the error "mailbox access denied".

Do I need ACL for the server-wide rules now? (I read something about it, but only on domain or account rules).

What do I miss??

16:36:45.591 1 ENQUEUER([5357080]) [5357080] rule(arch_rn12): failed to store in mailbox
'~public/rn12'. Error Code=mailbox access denied

Could it be a lock or something at OS/Filesystem level?

The problem is the misconfiguration of the other parties Barracuda.  I know it's hard, but they need to understand they are blocking a lot of legit email because of it.  It's unfortunate that Barracuda marks this option(Deep header scanning) with a recommendation of setting this to yes.  When you read the explanation of it in the help section you get a better understanding of it:

/quote
Deep Header Scan - Check this option if email is being received from a mail relay instead of directly from the Internet. This option will check the first header that is not a "Trusted Forwarder". The "Trusted Forwarder" list is configured on the BASIC > IP Configuration page.
quote/

If the Barracuda is directly connected to the Internet, Deep header scanning should be turned off on the Barracuda.

Show us your rule. Maybe we can help with it? It looks as though your
mailbox in the Store In rule is incorrect.

Re: mailbox access denied

The account "public" seems to be a member of the root domain according to
this rule. Is it a server-wide or domain-wide rule?

Re: mailbox access denied

Hello,

Which version of CGPro is that?

Does account "public" in the primary domain exist, with the folder
"rnl2" in it?

Did you revoke any rights from the postmaster account?
